Southern Oregon Land Conservancy – Conservation Book Club – Sept. 19th

September 19 @ 6:30 pm - September 25 @ 8:00 pm

This book club meets quarterly (or so). We discuss local and planet-wide conservation issues and are inspired by our readings, personal experiences, and good conversations. For more info, contact kristi@landconserve.org or 541.482.3069 ext. 105.

Free and all are welcome. By the way, finishing the selected book is not a requirement for attendance!

Book: The Invention of Nature: Alexander Von Humboldt’s New World by Andrea Wulf.

Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859) was the most famous scientist of his age, a visionary German naturalist and polymath whose discoveries forever changed the way we understand the natural world.
