Southern Oregon Land Conservancy – Conservation Book Club – Sept. 19th

This book club meets quarterly (or so). We discuss local and planet-wide conservation issues and are inspired by our readings, personal experiences, and good conversations. For more info, contact or 541.482.3069 ext. 105.

Free and all are welcome. By the way, finishing the selected book is not a requirement for attendance!

Book: The Invention of Nature: Alexander Von Humboldt’s New World by Andrea Wulf.

Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859) was the most famous scientist of his age, a visionary German naturalist and polymath whose discoveries forever changed the way we understand the natural world.
